Our First Married Valentine's Day

Let me first say that holidays are SO much more fun when you are married!
We had just a great first Valentine's Day as husband & wife. :)

That morning I set my alarm for 5:40, so I could make Jonathan homemade blueberry pancakes before he went to work. It was so lovely to have breakfast together {which never happens during the week because I don't EVER get up that early!}
He was so surprised! Blueberry pancakes are his favorite!

The homemade pancakes were awesome! {recipe} I will never use a boxed mix again!
{Oh, & the recipe says to let the batter rest for an hour. I only waited 5 mins & they were great!}

That night we had an amazing dinner at Bonefish.
Us at dinner :)

 The food was so good! We seriously ate EVERY bit of the three course meal that was put in front of us {& a basket of bread!}. It was all so delicious!
We got their famous Bang Bang Shrimp as an appetizer. So yummy! Then we both enjoyed their wolfish entree. Wolffish is one of our favorite fish, so we were happy to see it was one of their specials that night. And for dessert we got the Macadamia Nut Brownie! :) YAY! It was so good, but I seriously think it was smaller than usual! haha I was so sad when it was gone!

 After dinner we came home to switch cards.
My sweet card from Jonathan!

His card from me. I made it using Tiny Prints!

After swapping cards, we got in bed & watched one of my all time favorite movies!
Yup, the Sex & the City movie. :)

When we were engaged Jon used to watch the tv series with me a lot, but he'd never seen the movie.
So, after we stitched cards, we hopped in bed, with a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats {yes, more food!} & watched the movie.  He laughed & laughed.  I knew he'd like it! :)

Cuddling with my love + Carrie Bradshaw=Perfect end to a fabulous Valentine's Day!

So in love with my sweet Valentine! :)
