A Quick Hello

Hey y'all! I just wanted to stop in to say hello & tell you what's been going on since I got back from San Diego. Mackenzie & I had a blast in California! The weather was perfect and we enjoyed every minute of the trip! However; we had to come back two days early because my sweet great-grandmother went to heaven last Wednesday and the funeral was Saturday.

It still doesn't seem quite real to me that she isn't with us anymore, but I know it is for the best. She was 92 and was suffering in her last few days. It was her time to go. Now she is in heaven with Jesus & her husband.

I will always remember her. Her smile, her kindness, how she loved and cared for her family, & her amazing food! ;) She was a wonderful woman & I will always miss her. I'm so thankful that God gave me 25 years with my Nanny :)

Here is a picture of my Nanny & me this past Christmas. She is 91 in this photo.

 Beautiful flowers on Nanny's grave.

After the funeral we went home and had lunch together, then came back to Nanny's grave.

My grandmother {Nanny's daughter} & four of her six grand-babies after Nanny's funeral.

So thankful for this man. He was so supportive.

It's hard to read, but this is my great-grandparents' headstone.

Our Nanny will forever be loved & missed!

I also want to say a quick thanks to my guest bloggers from last week. All your guest posts were wonderful! I was planning to start posting some pictures from the trip today, but I've been in the bed sick the past two days. Hopefully, I get some up tomorrow.

Have a great day, y'all!
