A week at the most! :)

Guys, I got some news. But, let me give you some background info first.

I have a blood clotting disorder, so I've been taking shots of blood thinner this entire pregnancy. I saw my hematologist yesterday to get my blood checked. He said everything looks good, but he wants me to be off of the shots for at least 12 hours before getting an epidural. I called my OB today to tell her this and see if there was anything we needed to do.

She has scheduled an induction for next Wednesday!
But, she said to skip my shot before she checks me Friday morning
in case she decides to go ahead and send me to the hopsical then.

So, y'all...ONE week at the most! I am soooooo excited and had to share this news with you!
7 days (or less) until I get to meet my sweet baby! :)

Miller's Nursery

I'm SUPER excited to show you my little man's room today!
It is completely finished and just needs one more thing: MILLER :)

This rocking chair is very special. It was in my nursery when I was a baby :)

This dresser was my great-grandmother's. We sanded it & painted it.
I love the brightness it adds to the room!

This chair is also VERY special to me. It was my great-grandmother's.
& the cat pillow was made by my mom when she was in high school.

The bear "G" cross stitch was given to me by my MIL. 26 years ago, it hung in my husband's nursery.
My mom gave me the little bear cup. It was mine when I was a baby.

Miller, we are SO ready for you to arrive. You can come whenever you're ready, sweet boy!

How far along: I'm 38 weeks (& 2 days)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 35
Maternity Clothes: Yes. + sweat pants & Jonathan's t shirts.
Best Moment this Week: My best friends threw me a wonderful shower on Saturday. They had ALL of my pregnancy cravings for me to eat (pad thai, chips & salsa, chocolate chip ice cream, and cupcakes.)
It was so YUMMY & fun!
Gender:sweet baby BOY!
Movement: Yup. All the time. Sometimes I can't tell if I'm having contractions or if it is just him moving. He is definitely ready to get out! ;)
Food Cravings: Sandwiches, chicken strips, & sweets.

1.) Our new furniture arrives this week!
2.) Our alma mater, the University of Memphis, is a 6th seed in the NCAA Tournament.
GO TIGERS GO! Can't wait to watch them play on Thursday! :)

This Week Via Instagram

I am now 38 weeks pregnant & y'all...I'm starting to get emotional. About very silly things.
Like this mocha frappe for instance.
I absolutely love them. I had three last week.

Last Sunday night before heading back to church, we stopped by McDonald's to get me one.
Well, the lady hands me a hot mocha. I almost cried. & I'm not the crying type. But, I about lost it.
Thankfully, my sweet husband calmed me down and asked the lady to make me a frappe.
Thank goodness. Hormones are crazy, y'all...

Sunday evenings I teach a class called "TeamKID" and my sweet man is my assistant teacher.
I snapped this picture of him and some of our girls working on a puzzle together. He is SO sweet with them. I love just watching and listening to him interact with children. He is going to be an amazing dad!

I got some sweet "thank you" cards this week from our GA group at church.
This little gesture of appreciation made me so thankful for my church and the work I get to do there.

There is this giveaway going on this week via instagram & I am DYING to win these goodies for M!
I love everything bout this!

We have gotten lots of sweet gifts & cards for our Mill man lately and this one is one of my favorites.
My husband was a football player in high school. A "fullback" to be exact.

I can't wait to watch M grow up and see who he becomes.
Will he follow in his daddy's footsteps and play football or will he want to do something completely different?
Can't wait to see what he get into!

And lastly this....
Oh, what a happy happy HAPPY place our country would be :)

Hospital Survival Kit for Daddy :)

I saw this "Hospital Survival Kit" for dads on Pinterest and knew immediately I wanted to do it for my sweet husband, so I made him a basket full of goodies he can use while we are in the hospital.

We are getting closer & closer to Miller's due date(16 days to be exact), so I decided to go ahead and give him his "Hospital Survival Kit"! Miller could really arrive anytime now, so I wanted have all these things packed in Jonathan's hospital bag!

So, here is my version of the "Hospital Survival Kit" for my husband.

  His kit includes:
-His favorite snacks for when he is hungry: Beef Jerky & Granola Bars
-Some caffeinated drinks for energy: Red Bull & Diet Mountain Dew
-Basic Toiletries if he wants to shower: travel deodorant, shampoo, toothbrush/paste, and bodywash.
-Something to read: A autobiography book about Navy Seals & a funny little comic book called "Darth Vadar & Son (we LOVE Star Wars & I thought it would be cute/funny since we are about to have a son!)

And that's it! :) Hoping these goodies will make our trip to the hospital more comfy for my baby's daddy!

& Since I found this fabulous idea on Pinterest,
I'm linking up with Stephanie & Katie for Saw it. Pinned it. Did it!

I'm loving...

... that our new bedroom is finally covered in beautiful hardwood!
So happy to have this finished! Yay for floors :)

...that Miller's tiny TOMS from Zulily arrived this week.
Have you ever seen any cuter shoes in your entire life?!

...that a friend ran a half marathon at Disney World last month and brought back something for M!

 His first Christmas ornament!

...McDonald's Mocha Frappes.
I've been really craving a Starbuck's White Mocha Frappucino lately, BUT the closest Starbucks is about 30 miles away. Luckily, our little town just got a McDonald's this fall, so I thought I'd give their frappes a try! And I am so glad I did. It definitely satisfied my craving. I want another one right NOW!

...all the adorable baby goodies Baby Gap has out right now!

Thank Leslie for letting me know! Can't wait to SHOP tomorrow :)
