Four Weeks

Miller wants to say, "Wahoooo, I'm FOUR weeks old today!" :)

Four whole weeks, Miller man! You will be ONE month on Saturday!
Good golly, where is the time going?!

We had a little scare this week...On Sunday you started having some thick, greenish yellow discharge from your left eye. Sometimes your eye would even get crusted shut! It was so sad and absolutely broke my heart! You, on the other hand, didn't even act like it bothered you. Such a tough little man. We went to the doctor Monday morning and we found out you had a blocked tear duct. Dr. H gave you some drops and now your eye is pretty much all better, thank goodness!

We also found out at the doctor that you are now over TEN pounds! 10 pounds 2 ounces to be exact. Dr. Hamilton says you're gaining weight like a champ. My big, big boy :)
You just keep getting bigger and chubbier {and cuter} every single day.

You & I have been using your moby wrap just about every day this week. And you LOVE it. We walk over and see Mimi and Myles, then we walk over and visit Maw and Paw. You usually get so comfy you just pass out. I think it's comfy too, M. I love having you so close to me. You're a great snuggler!

Happy 4 weeks, Miller man! You're the best! So glad you are ours :)

He is just precious!! Happy Four Weeks, Miller!

A couple in our Sunday School class just had a baby...must have been just a few days before you. Their son was four weeks yesterday! I got to hold him on Sunday, and he just melted my heart...and I'm sure Miller does with you everyday!

How is it possible that he is four weeks old already? I cannot believe it! Time just flies! He gets cuter and cuter every day - I am loving the weekly updates on him:) And glad to hear that he's okay despite the little eye scare. Knowing us mamas, it probably bothered you more than him, lol!:)

What a cutie! Our older daughter had what we called the "goopy eye" for her first eight months, and it would seal shut while she slept a lot of the time. The doctor said it was a blocked tear duct and if it persisted beyond a year, they could do a procedure to open the duct up a little more. She had the flu at eight months and it magically cleared it up--so strange. Our younger daughter has never had that problem, though, and her tears are HUGE, so I guess her big sister just has small tear ducts!

Happy 4 weeks gorgeous boy!
Shame V, I feel your pain with the little eye infection - our little SJ and 3 in her first 12 weeks... And you know what the best remedy was - breast milk!! (sounds weird, I know!)

4 weeks already? How did that even happen? I blinked and missed a whole month. Man it goes fast, doesn't it? (Well, maybe not the first 6 weeks, but after that you'll be shocked how quickly it goes by). Mac recently had the same eye tear duct issue - gross, but didn't seem to bother him. Glad it's cleared up.
